We use the services of PayPal to process credit cards for us. It is NOT necessary to have a PayPal account to do this. Admittedly their purchase page is confusing - it should look something like the image below. Shown in the red circle is link you need to click in order to pay using a credit card. You will not need to sign up with PayPal.
